Beginning SEO when you knows nothing
Step 1: Define keywords
Before any project, it is important to find the right keywords to target words, which define the amount of work you have to do.
NOTE: It is preferable to use two keywords, namely "Coloring animals" instead of just "Coloring" because they are much easier to position, and general searches are not really used.
You can use tools such as Google AdWords (generator key words) or Google Insight (trend) to get an idea of the interesting keywords and the competition that exists.
Look at the number of results appearing in the query or keyword that you have chosen, and examine the top 10 sites.
*Study their domain,
*Look at the title of the page,
*How often keywords /phrase appears on the page.
Step 2: Choose your domain name and hosting
Your domain name should ideally include the mot-clé/phrase you studied above.
Example: coloring-animaux.com if I wanted to focus on the best classification of "coloring of animals" as a search term. Check now the perfect domain name is available on site as different indom.com
You can get a free domain name with some web hosting providers with the hosting service of your choice.
NOTE: It is better to have a quality web hosting to avoid problems if your website is successful, or if you do not have too much money, a low cost French host OVH will do as you will too. the possibility of setting up forums and blogs.
Now you have your NDD (domain name) and accommodation, as well as the keywords that you want to set, you can create your website (think also have a fairly clean and neat design).
Step 3: Optimize your web pages
The keyword or keyword phrase on which you want to position you should be in the title of your page in the H1 tags, H2 tags .. etc., and throughout your web page naturally in your content, hierarchically:
H1 = the title .. and in the html,
mot-clé/phrase [/ h1] - H2 = subtitle .. and in the html,
other mot-clé/phrase [/ h2] and so on ...
NOTE: look at how well your competitors have optimized their page, and the number of times they have used keywords in the title, H1, H2 etc.. Importantly also, consider putting each time the Alt tags on images. You will also optimize all pages in the same way.
So much for the basic optimization of your website. Do not forget to regularly update your content. This is the best way to advance your website in the rankings and bring back visitors.
